Kou-Kamma Municipality

Kou-Kamma Local Municipality covers an area of 12 540 square kilometres. It is composed of two regions, namely the coastal belt (referred to as the Tsitsikamma / Western Coastal Zone, with towns such as Coldstream, Storms River and Clarkson), and the inland Langkloof area (including towns such as Kareedouw, Joubertina and Louterwater). The Coastal Zone is characterised by a diverse and fast-growing economy driven by tourism and agriculture. The Langkloof is a famous deciduous fruit growing area.
