Eastern Cape gearing up for next host game
With the city of Port Elizabeths' first host game of the Soccer World Cup 2010 behind it, the excitement mounts for the game between Ivory Coast and Portugal on the 15th of June at 16:00. The result of the first game played in the city, between Korea and Greece, was 2-0 in favour of Korea.
Players to keep your eyes glued to include Gervinho from Ivory Coast and Raul Meireles from Portugal. Gervinho is expected to shine in the wake of Drogba's potential absence. As for Meireles, it is expected that team anchor Meireles will have a hand in Portugese triumph. The Porto central midfielder was brilliant in the recent match against Cameroon, scoring 2 of the 3 goals for the team.
